Military Families and Veterans

Today over one million Americans are bravely serving in the United States Armed Services.  More than 19,000 Hoosiers are actively serving their nation away from home.  Currently, over 20,000 children in the State of Indiana are members of military families.  Students who have parents in the military may experience six to nine different schools during their K-12 education.  Frequent moves, family separations through deployments and reintegration issues present unique challenges to military families.

MSD Warren County is committed to meeting the unique needs of all students, especially those of military youth.  MSD of Warren County offers our gratitude and support for all military personnel, their families and veterans.   MSD of Warren County will establish a trained point of contact at each building to support military families.  In addition, MSD of Warren County vows to make every effort to connect military families with the resources they need.
